Software and Hardware Used During the Creation of My Marketing Campaign
Hardware used for my marketing campaign:
iPhone for test filming to get a rough idea on distance, composition and movement within shots
Panasonic camera for shooting my trailers and viewing shots on replay
Tripod which enabled me to film steady shots and allowed me to change height of shots with ease
Laptop which has allowed me to fill out my blog throughout the year and to ensure it features all of my research, planning and final products
Microphone which allowed me to record the voiceover heard in my trailers as the radio presenter reports the breaking news
PC which I used to edit my trailers which made the process much more efficient and easier
Softwares used throughout the process:
Blogger - which has enabled me to keep track of my research and planning and update it throughout the process so I can easily refer back to posts.
Adobe After Effects/Photoshop - enabled me to create my titles as still images and move them around in my trailers and insert them after I had finished editing.
Adobe Audition - allowed me to record the voiceover heard in my trailers as the radio presenter reports the breaking news, but also enabled me to edit the music for my trailers so it synched with the images and the sound levels were right at different times throughout. I was also able to change the audio from non-diegetic music to diegetic sound over the phone.
Soundcloud - allowed me to store the music (including 'Highway to Hell') and sound effects (phone calling/tense non-diegetic SFX which make the scenes feel more authentic) for my trailers, before uploading them to my blog.
