Analysing Action Film Posters - 'Land of Bad'

The first action film poster I am going to look at is for 'Land of Bad'.

The poster contains the following typical conventions of the action genre:

• Iconography typical of action genre (guns/weapons, military costumes, helicopters, jungle settings, explosions)
• Sans serif font creates a intense and urgent feel which aligns with the themes of action films
• Short snappy title 
• Exciting tagline, reference to fighting, bravery an honour
• R restriction highlights the film has lots of violence
• Multiple images on poster suggests the film is action-packed 
• Cast are known for being in previous action films
• Dark and earthy colours highlight the tension in the film as characters may need camouflage 
• Intense facial expressions
