Comparing Social Media Pages - Conclusion

After analysing four film social media pages which are from different genres, I have found similarities and key features that are common for all films social media pages.

These include:

• Profile picture
• Trailers for the film including theatrical, trailers and TV spots
• Clips and photos from the film
• Photos of posters for the film
• Behind the scenes videos/Interviews
• Photos of famous actors/actresses that are playing big roles
• Links to websites
• Photos of merchandise/books
• Photos of upcoming releases that link to the film eg: a spin off
• Reference to nominations 
• Reviews of film
• Reference to buying film (Blu-ray, Digital, 4K Ultra HD)
• Likes, comments, captions, stories and shares

Additionally, although the films are from different genres, the social media page used for each film is presented and laid out the same and each platform has a slightly different layout from one another.
