Analysing Film Posters - Introduction

In the next few posts I will be analysing five posters from different genres, to see the general conventions of film posters. This will help me when it comes to making my own poster as I will know what features it must include. 

The posters I will be analysing are for the following films: 

'The Witch' (Horror)

'The Jungle Book' (Fantasy)

'Hidden Figures' (Drama)

Inception (Heist)

'The Adults' (Comedy)
